What notification? Yahoo does not send email notifications when some one blocks your account. Are you talking about Yahoo/YA, or twitter or facebook.

On Facebook? Why would you wanna do that?
And yeah, it will. It'll just say the link is temporarly unavailiable. It's like when you delete a post, but it still shows up and stays in the notifications. I hate it when ppl do that.
