Is it narcissistic if a person posts the pics of lunch and dinner they ate on facebook and brag about it? - Jeremy - 11-09-2012 10:46 PM

I have a friend who always post pics of his lunch dinner on facebook on giant stakes and says this is what i ate....why does he do that....it seems too tacky and attention seeking....

The worse i think is when people actually praise him and leave comments that confirm him rather than telling him showing off is not good....I hate f-c-book

It's not narcissistic but it is stupid.

I've seen worse. Younger members, in general, will post every picture they take and let you know when they are leaving for school, getting home from school, changing their clothes, feeding their pets, etc., etc. A blow-by-blow description of someone's life is not something I am interested in. However, a relative recently went on a European trip and posted pictures of different meals from different countries, and I found this very interesting. Sort of like eating abroad by proxy.
