Is an app which travellers use considered as social networking? - twentynine6 - 11-09-2012 11:45 PM So if a traveller uses BA's or easyJets app to book a flight, is this considered as them social networking? Or is social networking strictly Twitter, Facebook, etc...? - The Cycling Epic - 11-09-2012 11:54 PM Facebook is social networking because is a social kind of thing, just over the net (hence the name), but when did buying tickets to San Francisco ever become something social. These apps for iPhones might have a 'Share' function on them but you share what you have done via Facebook, Twitter... etc. Email, Facebook and Twitter are a way of keeping social, over the net, but I can't really see buying tickets to fly in Business Class to San Francisco, a very social thing. You can tell your friends about it but so what, it doesn't mean that they do it for you. So I suppose the answer to your question, is a big fat: No. |
