My Brother had made a facebook account a while back but he uses it very rarely and now someone seems to be hacking into his account and posting things. He wants to completely scrap off his old account and make a new one.

Go to the Account tab, and click "deactivate". You will need to go through a whole bunch of stupid "your friends will miss you" things, and a letter reading test.

Copy and paste this link when you have logged in to your facebook account:
http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=delete_account
Click Submit an type necessary things like password and spam check. Then your account will be deleted in next 14 days.
