The term 'hash tag' goes with Facebook and Twitter. What is it? - runner1 - 11-09-2012 11:54 PM - Annoyingshape323 - 11-10-2012 12:02 AM It's like this: #ThingsLongerThanKimsMarriage Tags beginning with a hash (#) - East Coast Pilot - 11-10-2012 12:02 AM <- hash [name] <- tag #ChronicTv Hashtag - jamie - 11-10-2012 12:02 AM It only goes with Twitter, actually. When you post a tweet if you hashtag something you want it to trend so other people use it. like say you tweeted "No homework all year! #seniors " You want other people to use #seniors in their tweets. Or if you're tweeting about the cowboys #howboutthemcowboys haha it can be funny stuff. you can also do stuff like #ihateitwhen people block the hallways then that will trend and everybody will do a "#ihateitwhen" tweet. I hope this helps? People use hashtags on facebook, but they shouldn''t. that's not how it works. |
