Both my brother and I are not friends with that person. However, their profile is open and available for my brother but not for me !!!!

There might be an age restriction on viewing their profile, say if he's 18 or over and you're under 18 years old you may not be able to view the profile.

Are you & your brother in the same network because:
If the person is in the Network X for example and You are in the network Y but your brother is in the network X, and that person allows people from the same network to see his/her profile, he will be able to see it

they may have thier profile security/ privacy set different
