I mean I can understand if it goes to their phone, but what about the people who don't get it sent to their phones? And what about when people get mad because it shows up on their news feed?
Isn't that the point of facebook?

I have a friend that decides to like everything on facebook that he reads. Other times when people are just posting random stuff or change the topic of conversation they will get annoyed. My friend gets over 100 notifications per day because how much he's on facebook so it can get to the point that it's just too much for people to keep up with.
