How do I change my highschool on facebook? - Joanna J - 11-10-2012 12:10 AM

Hello.
I joined facebook when I was, *sigh* underage, and I added my brothers highschool. But, turns out my dad wanted me to go to another highschool. Facebook isn't letting me change my highschool or remove it, so can someone PLEASE give me step-by-step details on how to change my highschool ?

*Note: when I say highschool, I mean, when I write on someones wall, I don't want it to say my highschool.

You should be able to edit your profile and change anything that's there. I've never had any problems and change mine all the time. Maybe you should create a new account. Either that or someone's playing games with you.

To the other response, no you don't change it by editing your profile, and you can't change it "all the time", as you're limited to once every six months.

To change high school networks, go to the networks tab of the account page (ie. http://www.facebook.com/editaccount.php?networks). In the "Join a Network" section, type in & select your high school. You can only be in one high school network at a time. If you join this network, you will leave your current network. You can only switch high schools once every six months. Once you click "join network" you should be in your new high school network.

Hope that was detailed enough Wink
