I've been in a closed street photography facebook group for a couple of years, the quality has gone downhill so I want to leave and take all my photographs with me. There are thousands and thousands of pictures though and deleting them one by one will take days.
Will they just vanish if I leave the group?

No, they will stay there if you leave the group. The only way they would be deleted is if EVERYONE leaves the group, in which case the whole group is deleted.

If they are in albums then deleting the albums will be easier. If you delete your account permanently then all your pictures will be deleted too. For more information http://www.ihelpline.com/Facebook/I117?3p=1
