I just got a facebook and i'm a fan of slash. I've sorta been on and off in the years, but i saw that he was working on a new project and he calls it gtr, whats it stand for? Thanks in advance and i feel so stupid not knowing my favorite rockstars new band Blah

I'm a fan, too, and this has been bothering me, so I looked around and I think that it is just an abbreviation for "Guitar." His Twitter from 6:31 PM Jun 1st says, "Izzy is down here putting some rhythm gtr on a track, sounds cool." So I think he's just talking about that sort of thing.
Saves space, seeing as Twitter only allows you to use what, 140 characters per Tweet? Something like that.
Just my guess.
