I was friends with the kid about three years ago and I haven't talked to him in forever. This guy is not somebody that I want affiliated with me or my life. I go to my girlfriends page and I see recently added friends and he pops up. he does not know her he has never met her in his life and I haven't talked to them into an half years what's the purpose or meaning of him doing

Ask her. It may be she hasn't purged her e-mail address book ever and she had him in there from three years ago, and added her entire address book to FB. It could be he is going to win her heart as a cruel revenge. We can't tell from here. They might both be in the stamp collecting club, for all we know. Ask her.
