Why does Facebook send out random friend request to other people? - Kenman L - 11-10-2012 01:03 AM

I logged onto Facebook and my notification says "<name> has accepted your friend request."

I didn't even send out a friend request. Why is this happening? My password is very complicated (mixed with symbols, numbers, and words).

One of two things could be going on:
1) somebody has accessed your account when you didn't log out properly
2) Facebook is having an issue.

I'd go to Facebook Customer Service (you can call them) and inquire as to what you can do about it!

This is odd. I would advise you contact Facebook on their Account Support Email. Facebook does not send random friend requests, because they have no reason to. A sibling or friend may be able to access your facebook because many browsers have the "Remember My Password" function. Facebook's Account Support Email can be found on the Facebook website.
