I want for nothing, now what you're willing to give is a whole nother story...

My GF put this on her twitter.... just didn't get what it meant. I think she's writing it to her ex.

Because of your insecure comment about her ex,
I was half-tempted to lie to you and ruin your day.

However, since you may have enough problems having her as your GF,
I'll give you the honest answer and let you deal with it from there.

What she is saying with that posting is her love can't be bought,
since she doesn't want anything anyone can buy for her.

She will, however, gladly take any such gifts that anyone is foolish enough
to shower upon her in the hope it will win her affections.

Presumably she is saying she wants those things which money can't buy:
honesty, integrity, character and all the qualities that make for a mature individual.

In saying it's another story if someone chooses to give her lavish gifts, though, she is
admitting she will 'play' any individual who tries to buy her love by accepting their gifts.

Where your problems may come in are that her espousing such a philosophy
indicates she has been manipulated in the past and has now become jaded.

Whether you posses the mature qualities she is seeking to win her heart is debatable,
especially given your initial conclusion that her innocent comment was meant for her ex.
