My parents won't let me get a Facebook.... And I don't know why. Could anyone give me some good reasons, that would convince my parents to let me get one? I want one badly, to communicate with my friends in other states. I really appreciate your answers. 10 points to the best answer!!!!!!!

First off how old are you? I dont think anyone under the age of fifteen should or would need a facebook account. Try telling them you can keep in touch with relatives and close friends. Let them know there are many privacy settings, if creepers are the problem. Other than that it is your parents decision on whether or not you can. Just try bringing out the possitives!

First of all, age. Too young and cannot. I got mine at 11 yrs old.
By the way, forget that.
Reasons:
1. Contact my friends easily.
2. Stay up-to-date.
3. Play fun games.
4. Promise not to open innapropriate things.
That's all.

Tell your parents that you are doing and IT project on Facebook.
"exploring the impacts of one of the most famous and salient social networking websites on the net today."
Soon they might forget after if they let you. But just incase they want proof of your "project" write down a few advantages and disadvantages of Facebook.
I understand why your parents don't want you to have a Facebook because it can cause problems between friends and relationships and there are pedophiles on the internet. People plan attacks on others through Facebook.
You could write that on your disadvantage list!
