How to delete a Facebook notification? - Luc - 11-13-2012 05:58 AM

I accidentally commented on a friend's picture. I don't want my friend of anyone else that has commented on that picture to see my comment. I DELETED the comment but they will receive a notification in email. Is there any way i can stop this?

if you deleted it fast enough, they probably wont receive a notification. But why are you going through all this trouble...

Since they changed the to the New Facebook you can no longer go to their Notifications and request that they don't recieve the one you didn't want. No one else will see that you made a comment if you deleted the post. Only the person you msg will get a Notification but when they click on it the msg or whatever you wrote will no longer be there.

heres what you do. say that a friend got on your facebook account as a prank and made that comment. problem solved.

if you deleted the comment the person won't be able to read it even if he gets the notification and most people don't even check their notifications anyway and they just ignore emails from facebook so you got nothing to worry about
