Hi Anusha,

I would like to say to you that don't let panic get the better of you at this stage. Your results are still awaited, and the anxiety of the result and career seems to be taking a toll on you.

Job hunts are unpredictable - sometimes you can land a job in less than a week, but at other times it might take a month or more too. It's all about the efforts you put in the search coupled with the kind of offers that come your way.

I will say use this time productively and begin your job hunt afresh. Create an effective resume that not only lists your educational qualifications but highlights your relevant skills. What are your domain-specific expertise? Be sure to mention them.

Next you need to forward the resume to the right portals - direct company HR, online job portals or even placement consultants. This you need to do actively. Even after submitting your application, following up with the concerned people is equally important.

Lastly, network through professional contacts - people you know in this field or seniors. Just talking about latest trends or career advice can be helpful in giving you valuable insights about your industry. Use LinkedIn and even Twitter.

Hope this was useful. Good Luck!
