How come they brought back Toonami? - Marcos - 11-13-2012 06:01 AM

Also, when will the line-up change because i don't care for FMA or Casshern Sins that much but when i heard DW i was like Big Grin! Is it on excusively on Saturdays, or also Sundays?

I heard only a Saturdays and yes Deadman Wonderland will be on it, which I also like, but no Dragon Ball anything which just makes it not like Toonami at all.

Toonami was always only on saterday night going into early sunday morning. They brought it back because they need ratings. the generation(a.k.a us) that watched toonami loves anime and they know once we hear its back we will all want to watch.I

Well one people probable been sending them letters requesting it to be brought back and CN needs the money it is losing to many people watching the network.

The reason Toonami is back is because of popular demand. On April Fool's Day they brought Toonami back but it clearly was a joke and everyone got upset that it wasn't back for real. Then campaigns started to bring it back and soon the creator of Toonami was brought back in to set it up again.

And yes the line up might change. The reason this may happen is because Toonami was not given a lot of money so they could not really buy the rights to any of the popular animes but if they get good ratings then they will be given more money and thus will be able to buy new animes like DBZ, One Piece, etc....

And Yes it will only be on Saturdays at 12:00, which is Sunday but whatever. If they get bettter ratings then they might be willing to move it up.

Toonami was brought back because on April Fool's day this year, Adult Swim decided to put Toonami on as a joke. Afterwards, everyone wanted Toonami back. They sent letters and stuff to Adult Swim begging them to bring back Toonami & the guy that voiced TOM, Steve Blum even got people from twitter to help him trend worldwide #ToonamisBackBitches. So due to the high demand for Toonami, Adult Swim decided to try it out.

Adult Swim has said many times that their budget for Toonami is very little, so they can only get a few new shows to air on Toonami, but they said if they get enough viewers & good ratings, they'll buy the rights to many more new shows to air on Toonami.

It will only be on Saturdays.
