Up until now my Facebook Messenger app used the Tri-tone sound when I received a message, now it is just a simple alert style tone (I cannot give an example) I have an iPhone 4S with IOS 5.1.1.
How can I get the Tri-tone sound back!

This has also happened to me! I was confused when it happened also. I don't think you can change it... Sorry!
