ive had a twitter for a few months but im really impatient on trying to figure it all out. ok i understand what is the @replies? why do people put # in front of some stuff? what is it for? how do you tweet pics & can you do pics from your phone? what else dont i know? all i really know how to do is update my status and see stuff people i follow put

I think the number signs have something to do with tags or something....
Anyways I am trying to figure it out too!
its some what boaring but entertaining
at the same time. I like it!

The hash is something like a keyword. For example, the word: "#yahoo" is promoted better than "yahoo". Use the hash mark for relevant words.

@ is used if you want to talk or reply to someone.

# means code, if you want something to be on the trending topics, than you put # infront of whatever you want to be on the trends..(for example, i would love to go to #newyork)

you can tweet pics from twitpic.com or from whatever(photobucket, etc..). all you have to do is put the link of the picture in your tweet. (for example, "check out this pic of my dog! twitpic.com/whatever")

And yes, you can tweet pics from your phone, theres a code for you to tweet it to. Go to "settings".

also, if you hover over a tweet, you will see a star, that's for favoriting something you like. If you want to keep someone's tweet, you click the star and if you want to see ALL your favorites you click favorites under "direct message" on the home page
