Do you think twitter ruins the wwe? - Christian - 11-15-2012 08:49 AM

I see more wrestlers going on twitter about being unhappy with the wwe or their character. So does twitter bring a positive or negative effect to the wwe

Yes and No on certain cases. Most of the wrestlers who tweet bad things about working with the WWE were either not good to begin with or they just are bitter.

I think it helps the WWE more because we can kind of see the wrestler's personal life without it feeling too intrusive since they are the ones putting it out there. For example, I'm following AJ Lee and she seems like an extremely nice person that I can get behind

It has a lot to do with most wrestlers having to stay in character on Twitter. A lot of them don't do that when they probably should. That's what surprised me when I first saw Matthew Bloom's (Tensai) Twitter. The name Tensai is nowhere to be found and he's often joking around with his followers and other wrestlers. Absolutely nothing like his Tensai character.

It's their twitter, let them tweet about what they don't like.

It probably is a mixed bag for WWE! WWE and the stars can go out their and promote the company and themselves! Look at Zack Ryder for example, he wouldn't even be on television or getting any kind of push if it wasn't for his youtube videos, facebook, twitter, he did poke a little fun at wwe for not pushing him, but there wasn't anything mean spirited in his youtube videos or aimed at making wwe look bad!

other people like gail kim come off so bitter about how they have been used, that it really just makes them look bad, and then there are stars who ruin their debuts by tweeting things like "im going to be at raw and beat so and so"!

Plus wwe shoves the whole thing down people's throats, by reminding us every 10 minutes what is trending right now during it's live raw broadcast! So it probably is more positive for wwe since it is great for marketing the company but it may turn a few people off!
