What does RT mean on Twitter? - baileyrain - 10-03-2012 02:23 AM What if my friend posts on her Twitter site that she is not feeling well, and I reply to her that I hope she feels better soon... am I supposed to put RT before I post my message to her? Why can't I just reply without the RT? - Aleena - 10-03-2012 02:31 AM It means to retweet :O) My source explains it. - gm0nk3y - 10-03-2012 02:31 AM It means ReTweet. You can type in the textbox, for example, "RT @(name) (link) (description)". Do not simply do "@ blah blah" because that will be a Reply. You have to write something before @. It can be "haha @...", but people in Twitter like to say "RT @" People you RT to will usually thank you for doing it. You are helping that person build traffic. |
