I just recently got the idea to make my Twitter account protected so that in the future if someone wants to follow me they have to request to. But it was public before and there are some people i don't know that are following me that I don't want to. How do I make it so they aren't following me anymore?

in the right top corner it has this thing with your twitter name, click on it then there will come up with a list of selections. click settings, then scroll down to where it says protect my tweets and then if you go on the persons twitter profile who is following you, you should be able to make them unfollow you somehow. or just ask them to
