Why does the Media keep trying to push Twitter when they see the majority of Americans have rejected it? - Armed - 11-16-2012 05:19 PM

If you don't know what I'm talking about - only 8% of Americans use Twitter. That's not very much when you compare it to Facebook - nearly half of Americans use it. Most are professionals, crazed fans, and people who are just very interested in News. Twitter does not appeal to the average American or even the Average young person.

Yet the Media outlets are constantly trying to brainwash people to use this site.

Why would they do such a thing? I mean, encourage competition in social media? Of all the nerve! We ought to have only one-that way we are completely at the mercy of one of America's richest men and his whims as to how to dispose of our privacy.

They have a huge chip in the game through cross-advertising.
