I have a twitter account and follow some celebrities. Sometimes I re-tweet their tweets. I look at their pages several times a day. However, does that amount to hacking? I don't go looking for their twitter passwords or anything like that. I simply like them and their tweets.

No of course =) you can relief.. These sites like (facebook, tweeter..) they are opened for people to socialize. You can share your ideas as many people do there.
You can also add some photos or videos to share and people can can comment on them too. That's how you share your ideas and thoughts.
