how do you report an explicit comment on facebook? - Cranberry - 11-18-2012 01:01 PM

how do you report a comment on facebook? and will facebook do anything about it?

- alucard817 - 11-18-2012 01:09 PM

why care?

if its on your profile just delete it.
if its on someone Else's, then it's their right to say it.
why should everyone speak as you do just to make you happy? that's quite childish and selfish as well.

I'm not sure about reporting, but it could have been a hack. If it said something about "Hey, your picture is all over thisisafakewebsite.com!" or something, then your friend's Facebook was most likely hacked, and you should tell them (in person). If it is something really bad, you can always block them. You remove them as a friend by going to the "Friends" menu thing at the top, and click the liiiiiiiiiiiittle "x" in the upper right in the friend's box.

Copy/Paste the post, and go to the poster's profile. At the bottom left corner, there is a link that says "report this person," and you can leave a detailed comment.

If this person has broken one of Facebook's use policies, depending on its severity, they will be sent a warning or their account will be temporarily suspended. However, if you report it and facebook's administration finds your report 'needless' (ie. you're being overly sensitive or the comment is just rude, not malicious/pornographic), then you may be at risk of your account being suspended.

Hope I've been of help Smile

you can report it but it is a waist of time.
