There's a lot of ways to get more twitter followers now a days, you can buy followers too if you want but that's not the point of getting it. You can use free tools too.

I use gettwitterfollows.com and traffichitters.com. I think the followers from traffichitters are higher quality and they let you specify more options about the type of people you want. They cost a bit more though. I tried cheaper services, but they didn't deliver any followers and I was just out the money.
