If I tweet someone, will that message be seen by all his followers? - Brian Malone - 11-18-2012 01:03 PM

Are tweets seen by everyone in a person's twitter follower's group? That is, will everyone of a person's followers on twitter see a message that I tweet him?

Yes it can be seen by his followers, IF it is a reply to a tweet he had already sent. When a user tweets something you can delve into the comment and see the replies the tweet has gotten from that users followers. Replies do not show in the main twitter feed however. You actually have to click the original tweet and look at the conversation.

However, if it is just a direct tweet @username that is not a reply, it will only show up in his main twitter feed for himself. You and your followers will see it in the main twitter feed, but his wont.

If he Retweets then yes his followers will then see your message. Smile
