It's not that I don't trust my friends and family, but many people will send out multiple emails and NOT use BCC. which means my email address and possibly my real name will get sent to a whole bunch of strangers!! Your own personal email for family/friends is OK. If you buy online use a gmail/ yahoo, or windows live mail account and hope all the spam goes there
