How to stop a phishing site invading my account? - Mikee - 11-18-2012 01:08 PM

At twitter, I clicked a link that allows you to "Have more followers", and tells you to give your user ID and password. Then it apparently goes into your account and advertises the phishing site itself. And these "Advertising tweets" are really annoying me because obviously, it is false advertising.

How can it stop doing this? When will it stop? What exactly should I do? How can I report this site?

Help me, guys! Thanks in advance.

Make sure your system isn't infected with a virus first. Get a trial of Kaspersky @ http://www.kaspersky.com

Check for malware with Malware Bytes or SuperAntiSpyware both available from http://www.filehippo.com

Change your twitter password

Update your operating system. Update Adobe Reader. Update Adobe Flash. Update Sun Java.
