I really wanna know whats the easiest way to get tons of followers without me having to follow random people. what works the best? is there anything out there thats free?

I'm following 45 people, and I have 135 followers.
I just tweet interesting things. I don't talk about nothing. Or just reply. I let people know who I am, what I'm like, what I like and dislike, what's going on in my life.
I get involved with my current followers, as best I can.
