okay so i have bad acne or not realli i got scars.. and i use the mousse foundation but it doesnt seem to cover good at all.. and when i do break out it gets realli bad so i need help with this cause its destroying my social life.. so what all do i need to cover this up and hows the best way to put it on?

Try using a foundation/concealer brush.
Also, try different foundations-- find one that works good on your skin type.

I had the exact same problem!! Most foundations made it so much worse. I now use mineral foundation and it covers fantastic and I don't break out anymore either!!!! Also there are some good mineral concealers on the market too. But normal liquid concealers didn't make me break out either. So give that a try.

I think you should get a good concealer that matches your skin tone and it will cover those acne scars right up.

I'd say, buy Bare Minerals! It covers EVERYTHING!
It's amazing. If you don't want to spend the money...you a foundation brush and put layers of foundation on your acne spots

Ok, for acne your going to want a stick concealor. The thickness helps to cover any offending redness much better than a more liquid base concealer. However, you MUST make sure you blend WELL. Also, for extra coverage, I would also put your normal foundation over the spot you covered with the stick. For application I would get a concealer brush and use that. If you use your fingers, you'll end up taking off most of what you put on. Just get the brush, dab some from the tube and more-or-less paint it over the blemish. It's the best way to go.

I would use liquid foundation. First moisturize your face. That's very important. Then put the liquid foundation on. If you still have any spots left try putting some concealer on. But do not use mousse or powder! First of all people can tell you wear it, and it shows acne even more. This helps and there are many liquid foundations on there. The more liquid/moisture the better the look. Remember to read the label for the type of skin each liquid foundation is. Also try it out at a department makeup place. Hope this helps!

There is a product on the market called a pockmark filler which is used to help fill in the scars left from acne. If you don't still have acne (actual pimples) you may want to use a primer before you apply your foundation. The problem with primer, however, is that it can be extremely oily. If you still do get severe blemishes it is best not to use it.
And honestly, there is is nothing that looks worse than someone trying to cover up acne with loads of foundation. The key is to use a concealer with a light green tint which will fight the redness of your blemishes. The best thing to do is to try to avoid foundation as much as possible if you still have acne because it will just make it worse.
But for kicks if you want a foundation that is good for acne-prone skin try Neutrogena SkinClearing oil-free makeup and pick up Rimmel's Stay Matte powder.
