When it comes to a social networking site like Twitter you should not wait for people to start following you because that can take quite a while. If you were to be noticed by a celebrity such as a celebrity on Twitter talking about you or if they were to retweet one of your tweets you can easily get a lot of followers. Also, if you are apart of a fan base and you tweet what is on your mind about what that certain celebrity does people will be interested in your tweets and start to follow you. If a celebrity on Twitter noticed you or you met a celebrity put it on your biography, most people do follow others like that. You should act like the type of person that you would like follow on Twitter yourself. You should be yourself but also make jokes and be random and funny. A lot of people on social networking websites like to follow or add others that are funny, random, interesting and are very nice you don't see much people that have a lot of care for others that are always upset and saying mean things about others. It takes time to gain a lot of followers. Good luck.
