How could my computer have gotten the virus- Antispyware? - Gentlemenface759 - 11-19-2012 02:02 AM

The only thing I do is go on facebook, twitter, itunes and youtube. Someone came today and got rid of the virus, but I was just on twitter, and it got infected by the same virus AGAIN. (antispyware). Is it possible to get that virus from saving images to your computer? My parents are gonna kill me when I tell them the computer got infected again. lmfao. HELP.

Browser exploits typically from advertisements.
Don't click on everything you see.

Stop using internet explorer.

Dont worry .Install any good license anti virus ( i.e net protector , quick heal, e-scan etc.) and take your pc on line protection.

You are not properly maintaining your computer. Viuses that auto-install themselves do so by exploiting unpatched vulnerabilities in Windows and your other installed software like Adobe products. You must keep all updated and patched. This is crucial!

And of course you ARE using a good anti-virus with real-time protection, right? One that is not expired?

Doesn't matter what websites you go to...ANY website can be hacked and used to deliver malware.
