Alternatives have been offered, but democrats don't want to hear it. America competes in a World Market. Americas wages and cost of goods are extortioately higher than the rest of the world. American wages and cost of goods must go down in order for America to survive in the World Market. Let the corporations who can't make it file bankrptcy. If they can't survive under bankruptcy let them go under. If there is a market for their goods or services somebody will buy thier plants and or equipment and do what they were doing at a cmopetitive wage and cost of goods.
