So I have a twitter account and then my friend told me that all my tweets on twitter appears on his yahoo mail portal every time he opens his account. My biggest worry was I sent email messages to big companies and I'm afraid they're receiving it too. How do I stop that? I already tried to change my email address on twitter and it still won't work,

Top of the page click on your welcome name and then
click on Settings and then click on Manage my Updates
you can cancel it in there
remember to Save Changes.

Hi Flamboyant Dutchess,
To stop receiving email notification by Twitter just go to your Twitter profile page and click on the "Edit your profile" link. On the profile page click on the "Notifications" tab. You can also visit this link (https://twitter.com/settings/notifications) directly in your browser.
You can uncheck the boxes next to the notifications you do not require. Once you do that Twitter will stop sending you email alerts.
