What percentage of the money supply should the government be allowed to allocate? - Ethan Tyler Reilly | Whatever It Takes - 11-19-2012 02:04 AM

BQ: Where do you define yourself on the political spectrum?
!: That doesn't answer my question, no matter how true it might be.

only the required needed to maintain our protection and our governmental supply programs...

BQ: I'm a registered Independent...I vote for the person, not for the "D" or "R" besides their name.

About 75% of welfare low life losers incomes they get from people who have jobs having their paychecks deducted by the government.

And 100% of drug dealers, pimps and prostitutes incomes.

Enough to maintain a professional standing army. Clean drinking water for all, well maintained electricity grid, protected industries such as defence. Provide good courts and laws, uphold a codified constitution, law enforcement, comprehensive social security, comprehensive and powerful licensing bodies for food, drugs and financial bodies. Look after all the needy and provide free healthcare for everyone. Effective tax structure, etc.

Exactly how much that takes is entirely dependent on the country and their perception of how much is needed of each.

If a country cant sustain itself with a deregulated market economy, the government should increase regulation to increase stability. Its simply not possible for an economy to regulate itself without risking the collapse of the entire countries market, such like what happened in the US sub-prime market collapse.

I'd say I'm a pragmatist. I see a problem and I look for an effective solution. Waste is a problem in every business, culture and organisation in the world. However, effective governance is required to keep a country on an even keel and stop it killing itself so, a balance must be kept by the government. Allow the market to flourish, but dont allow it to start taking on billions in toxic debt, destroying the countryside and exploiting the people of the country, upon whose backs the wealth of the nation is based.
