Why are the Republicans suddenly acting so childish about the health care bill? - SWBD - 11-19-2012 02:04 AM

I am not sure what exactly Michael Steele said but Sarah Palin was awful. She is putting cross hairs on her website to show the districts of Democrats she wants to see defeated. Then on Twitter she told her followers not to worry but just reload (their guns). None of this seems very professional.

Becasue they put all of their political capital on line to oppose President Obama and the health care bill. And that got spanked BIG TIME.
Their whole agenda went down in flames. It's a little humbling and they don't have the class to admit they were wrong.

There's no denying there's been imprudent behavior by Republicans recently.

Death threats and vandalism.

It seems a lot more professional than back room deal and payoffs. Were those made by the party you like?

The war for freedom will never really be won because the price of our freedom is constant vigilance over ourselves and over our Government. – Eleanor Roosevelt

i didnt know about the crosshairs . hopefully after the news of the threats on some dems she will take it down an calm down her people . im not holding my breath. the gop have been inciting revolt an dissension ever since the campaign. she was the one who yelled terrorist at obama. to answer your question. they have millons of dollars in contributions from insurance. this is public record. if someone gave you a million to speak against it. would you? i think the last thing is that the know this will be successful an will hurt the election chances for them if it gets going.

What isn't "professional" or even ethical is President Obama and Congress passing an unconsitutional bill that the public is against.

What isn't professional, is Obama and Congress having backroom deals and making bribes and threats to get this Socialist agenda passed.

Sarah Palin is correct in placing cross hairs on her website. The only true thing Obama has said during his Socialist Presidency is "the time for talk is over" he is correct about this.

Palin and Steele are doing what the democratic process allows for. They are not raping the consitution like Obama and the sicko socialist liberals. Sarah Palin said nothing about guns... another liberal lie.

They didn't get their way, so now they want to cry about it.

What it does is show how low "partisanship" can get.

In this country we VOTE for what we believe in, AND WE VOTED ! ! !
The keynote of the Obama campaign was health care reform, if someone didn't want health care reform they shouldn't have voted for him. If someone didn't vote for Obama (like me), they/we were in the MINORITY!
end of story

quote: "You cannot generalize, especially in a time like this.As a whole, they are concerned because many small businesses are owned by republicans."

Got news for ya;
I was a small business owner for the better part of 40 years, and this law would have been a godsend! Finally at long last there is a chance that small business owners (like me) will actually be able to afford insurance for our employees.
Businesses with less than 50 employees still are exempt.
Businesses with more than 50 employees will be able to join a "pool" to buy insurance at an affordable rate.

Nothing good or bad in the Bill is relevant.

The only thing anyone needs to know is that it is UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

If you're one of those people who believe that it doesn't matter that it's unconstitutional because you got what you thought you wanted, then I don't want to hear a single peep out of any one of you when the Republicans take over and repeal abortion rights and vote to fund the KKK and Stormfront. mmmkay?
