Ok,I want to send someone a message on Twitter, they are not following me so can not direct message,If I use @joebloggs for example it only shows up in my profile not theres so how do they get my message?

well techinically they have to be following you to see your reply to them, ie your reply to @joebloggs. your reply will just come up on their homepage/update page.

if they're not following u they get your message just if u write @ and the name before your message. they'll get it but everyone who is following you can read it too!! u can send private messages only to people u r following and that r following u !!!

They can click on @username on their home page to see all tweets sent referring to their username.
