Jesus told us to share our wealth and distribute amongst the poor and the dejected. Does this mean Jesus was a liberal?

Of course, his Dad would be a Republican. That explains why there are so many starving people in the world.

He also said that it was much harder for a rich person to get to heaven than a poor one. Instead of thinking of his political views, perhaps you should consider the overall message about the welfare of those less fortunate.

No idiot, Jesus was not a liberal.. He was caring for everyone, EVERYONE. Just because he was a nice guy doesn't make him a Conservative or a Liberal, in fact I bet he's a Conservative at this moment because of Abortion. After that we have not the slightest clue what he would stand for in other issues.

NO, liberals want to FORCE people to lose chunks of their paycheck in order to distribute it to whomever the LIBERAL deems fit.
Big difference.
Jesus instructed His followers to give VOLUNTARILY as an act of worship to Him. Statistically, conservatives give lots more to charity than liberals, they also perform more volunteer work, donate more blood and are better tippers.
If Jesus preached being a tightwad who stands around whining about the poor rather than actually HELPING them, I might agree He was a liberal, but, alas, Scriptures prove you wrong.
Also, would Jesus believe a fetus was just a piece of tissue that can be ripped out at mom's convenience?

Liberals tell the lie that Jesus was a liberal because He said to help the poor.
But did that make Jesus a liberal?
The primary theme of liberal politics is taking from some, under the pretext of giving to others.
The Bible NEVER says to take money from some people and give it to others.
The Bible says only to GIVE out of your own belongings.
The Bible says GIVE not TAKE from others against their will.
Taking from others is STEALING, which is forbidden by the Ten Commandments.
The liberal justification for taking from others is "from each according to his means." In other words, if he has it, we want it. THAT IS COVETING. Coveting is also forbidden by the Ten Commandments.
Liberalism is a sin, because it violates two of the Ten Commandments.
The Bible DOES say:
Ephesians 4:28 He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work,
doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share
with those in need.
2 Thessalonians 3:10 If a man will not work, he shall not eat.
