if u write someone on twitter do they get it or they have to b following u too for them to get it & do u have to put # before their name? if so Y?

they will get it if you @ before their twitter handle name if they look on their page at "mentions" The # is like a trending icon that blasts all information on the name, topic, etc. u put # beside. Twitter is a great networking tool after you get used to it, harder than fb to get hang of...It sends info, news, music, trends about 100 millionm x's faster than fb and myspace combined.. They can get it even if neither of you follow each other. To tag them, you put @ before their name.
Example, to tag me, you'd put @Tobi_Is_Fab
