I blocked my dad on twitter , and then I put my account on private so he won't see my tweets ... is that a smart thing to do ? Will he know that i blocked him on twitter ? What would happen if i block him on twitter ?

Block some one else like your friends and then see what happens so be at yourfriends house when you do this do you can see and usally they have it online.
Blocking
Perhaps you tweet about a musical group or TV show of which you're a big fan, only to attract a follower who tries to get your attention just so he can disagree with you. Of course, if he follows you and you don't follow him back, you won't see his tweets on your timeline, but that won't necessarily stop him from bothering you. Take a step further and block him. Just remember he still can see your tweets, even if Twitter closes his account. So long as he knows your user name, all he needs is a Web browser to be able to see what you write.
