If you had an iphone, ipod (new gen) or ipad, you can just download the app from app store and use twitter from your phone. It's rlly useful but you just need an internet connection.
If you had Android market on your phone then I'm sure you can get twitter from it too

Go to your browser settings and then click on how you view a web page and change that to desktop.
