ive been rappin for a while now and im getting quite good my friends tell me. But wouldn't i get hated because i had an ok childhood and in england most rappers have 'mandem' and i don't? so woudent i get terrarised for that?

Follow your gut. If you're good, they'll take you. Hell, the music industrie is taking total shit artists, so if you're really talented, they'll be stuned. Go for it, if it's your dream.

market yourself. make an account on youtube (to post your songs/videos), facebook, mypace, and twitter. start performing local shows. make sure ur dressed well and hnave swagger.who knows u might just impress a record label exec.
