I got my twitter account suspended for aggressive following and using Buzzom's Twitin service. I want to use it again but am afraid I might get chucked off all together

yes they do monitor ... i suggest stop adding and removing followers for one or 2 weeks then start again slowly
use greasemonkey addon in firefox for adding followers ..using that will not get your account suspend easily

Haha, no they won't monitor you, on a bit more extreme case they may ban your IP. Just be good and that way you won't have to feel any fear.
