Any danger typing massage therapist license number on the internet? - andy a - 11-19-2012 02:43 AM

I just got my first license number ever. I'm not a Florida licensed massage therapist. I'm confused if there are any dangers for posting said license number online say on a twitter or other public site....
I'm now* I meant to say.

I would not think so, I don't think anyone can use your therapist license number to empty your bank account.

No, there's no danger. Your license is a public record so it is available somewhere online. Many licensed professionals like plumbers, electricians, insurance agents, etc. post their license number in their websites and marketing materials to establish trust and credibility.

Now, on twitter... I can't find a good reason to do so.
