Caught kissing in the bathroom, and now im being blackmailed!? - la la la - 10-03-2012 07:10 AM

So the past couple of days have been hell for me.

So me and my boyfriend have been going out for about two months. We're both gay and still in the closet so our relationship is a total secret. After school on Friday, when like no one was around we went into the guys bathroom and got a little frisky, some kid walked in on us, took a picture and threatened to put it all over facebook and twitter unless we give him $250 dollars by September 26th....

like wtf?

and on top of that, my Sunday i found out that my boyfriend was cheating for like 3 weeks!!! I was playing FruitNinja on his phone and all of the sudden he got a text from our mutual friend saying "Are you sleeping over again tonight?" and i got a little suspicious and looked at the previous texts and yep, he was totally cheating on me. So i ended it with him then and there, and now i'm single, broken hearted, and being threatened to come out of the closet unless i pay a ridiculous amount of money!! I NEED HELP. What would you do in this situation?

i'm really down right now and i have no one to vent to about this, because i am still in the closet. So it would be totally awesome if someone wanted to chat me up!! My email is pumpkinspice098@yahoo.com.

Dude, I know it may be scary, but go to a teacher. That kid has absolutely no right to blackmail you for being who you are, and you absolutely should not have to pay him that money.

Good luck; I hope things work out for you.

Pay or go public. Those are your choices.

Do not pay the money. I'm sorry about your boyfriend, by the way. Anyway, you should probably tell an adult - preferably a teacher - about this; otherwise, he will probably not only post the picture on Facebook, but also get away with it.

If I was in this situation, I would tell a teacher, then let whatever happens, happen. Try to live your normal life and once you're out of school, this will be a faint memory. Good luck!

Blackmail is illegal. Tell him you have notified someone in authority and if the picture shows up on line and he continues his threat, you will pursue legal action.

Or another plan of action, walk up to him in the hallway somewhere and give him a kiss and say. "Thanks for last night", so that everybody hears it. Then if he posts the picture, will make it appear he is jealous.
