Can I remove my Twitter account from Google search results? - Bebo - 11-19-2012 03:07 AM

hi
so i have a twitter account, and whenever i search my name on google my twitter account shows up with the pictures that i post and the profile picture.
i don't want my pictures to be in anyone's hand the person can easily take my pictures and make a freaking facebook account with my name and that would be a huge mess
so i want to disable google from having my twitter account displayed
how can i do that?

Nope, the internet is free game my friend. Once it's out there, it's out there forever. Unless you delete the account it shouldn't come up on a search result basis.

You might be able to if you contact google and tell them to remove your personal info from the search result page. Might take a while to be in effect after you contacted them. Good luck Wink

I went on and changed my user name. So instead of showing my full first and LAST, I change it to show my first name and just initials for my last name. That way if you type in your full name it should not show in 'google'.

Once you change it you should wait 24 hours (maybe even next day) to check since it will need to update the information.
