I'm doing a crossword but I cant find a word that fits these definitions
1. a bow of respect made by females
2. extreme brutality or intensity

The first one is a curtsy. I don't see it on your list. Did you misuse it for another answer?
The second is tortuous.

a bow of respect by females is called a curtsy..maybe pronouncement..2 is torturous
