Twitter only lets me search back 10 days or so. When I do the search through Google updates it doesn't give me a full listing. Is there a place where you can find a record of all old tweets?

Its not the days exactly, its the number of tweets i.e. you can only view your last 3200 tweets in your twitter history. They are not deleted from twitter servers but currently they only allow last 3200 tweets viewable.
Well there are other ways to overcome that restriction.
Check http://snapbird.org/ This website allow to view tweets that are older than 10 days.
You may back up your twitter tweets in advance. There are several free websites to do that:
