I just need a few blogs to follow with cool images and/or photography that would fit well for desktop wallpapers on my PC.

The common way to access Tumbler is ,of course, the web browsers. But like for Twitter , there are some good desktop applications for Tumbler also. In the case of Ubuntu, you can update your Tumbler blog with new posts from your desktop
